"They will soar on wings like eagles;
I have included some photos below- but it's just too hard to write this. How can you describe this little girl? She was such a beloved member of our rescue, she touched everyone's heart that she met and was everyone's favorite. We are all just devastated.
Daisy lived an excellent life at Shiloh, she wanted for nothing and ruled her piece of the ranch with an iron hoof. She loved to chase the dogs and pigs and would periodically be found bossing the pigs around in the Pig Palace. She wandered freely all of her years at the rescue.
They will run and not grow weary,
They will walk and not be faint."
Isaiah 40:31
Extremely Sad news as Daisy was gently euthanised on our June 2nd, 2011 vet day. We had to make this heartbreaking decision due to her advanced arthritis that she had developed in her neck. Because she was a dwarf she had birth defects, her head was too large for her body and as she aged it caused very bad arthritis in her neck vertebrae. We went as long as we could, but we could not allow little Daisy to suffer or be in pain. Daisy passed very quickly, completely surrounded by her Shiloh Family. She had a very good last day with lots of treats and attention and passed in the early evening in the area where she had lived.

We miss you Daisy, may you always wander freely at Shiloh...
