Sad news as our old blind Appy, Navajo, passed away in the night. Navajo was at least 35 years old and spent the last five years in our Sanctuary. He lived in the VC pen with his best pal, White Cloud and had recently added the three blind girls to his herd.
Yesterday, he was eating hay with his new girlfriends and looked as chipper as he always did. He passed in the night without a sign of a struggle, it looks like his age just caught up to him and he passed onto to Greener Pastures, surrounded by his friends. The way it should be...
Rest in peace, sweet Navie.
